Introduction:
Passing the baton to passing the torch is like a competition of runners. In this era surrounded by unprecedented challenges, from climate change and global pandemics and natural disasters to economic inequalities and fear of social divisions, we and our young generation are standing at a critical juncture. This is such a juncture that if we make even the slightest mistake in taking the right decision, then you can imagine how many years it can push us back. Because this era is fully equipped with such means, which we can't face if we are not ready. That is why the decision we take today, its result can prove beneficial for our future generations or can also become the cause of disaster. If all of us raise a voice today, which is for change, its echo will be heard for generations, and they will be able to shape that world. And our children and grandchildren will inherit it. You and I have a moral responsibility to face these situations directly and not put a burden and unresolved problems on those who come after us. It is not about leaving a legacy of perfection, but about leaving a legacy of progress. What we sow today is what future generations will reap.
Climate change is proving to be the biggest threat today. That is why we must carry forward the torch of change and shared knowledge, not problems. Today, discussions are taking place around the world, and awareness is being spread. Our mandate for the future of climate change is the central theme of “Our mandate for the future”. It is a call to action, a campaign, a reminder that the torch we hold is not a symbol of power but a symbol of responsibility. This is not the time to think and ponder; it is time to stand up with a torch of passion and move forward. It is a mandate to cooperate and build a more equitable and sustainable world. We have to break the dreams of the world for future generations. We do not have to manage only today; we have to actively create a better future for tomorrow and the future of today's generation. It is our job as you and I to ensure that the flame of hope and possibility stays lit bright for the next generation, to break free from the shadows of our inaction. It is our time to lead, to serve, and to ensure that the future is not a destination we fear, but a legacy we are proud to leave behind.
Environmental Stewardship
This area focuses on the responsibility of the current generation to tackle climate change and environmental degradation, or, in a way, I feel it is wrong to say this, because no one is heard saying the words of care for the climate and environment. On one hand, the population is increasing; on the other hand, pollution is increasing. The responsibility for this is none other than you and me.
If we understand the value of climate and environment and its purpose is to develop sustainable practices and policies today to prevent future ecological disasters, then to some extent, we understand the responsibility, and you are also involved in its protection:
Innovating eco-friendly products: Businesses that create truly sustainable products and packaging should be given priority.
Everyone can give a boost to green technology and renewable energy by planting a tree every year and developing and widely adopting clean energy solutions.
The government should support conservation and restoration projects and widely participate in such projects. So that we can create an organization dedicated to protecting natural habitats and species for the future.
Global Governance and Diplomacy is one of the very high-level education programs, where youth can focus on the responsibility to solve the national and international problems, like environmental problems. This is a great responsibility to make global peace and the corporate world. Through this initiative, global leaders come iinone umbrella and work jointly. Another very important thing is that youth can be involved nd take charge to lead diplomatic forums and conferences, where they can discuss global issues, research them, and find their solutions.

From time to time, Peace maker and conflict resolution training should be done for youths. Programs that teach the skills needed to de-escalate so many kinds of global tensions and resolve disputes between nations or groups.
It is imperative to increase national and international cooperation on major challenges. Organizations that can consider situations like global war as well as epidemics like coronavirus can reduce global cooperation on issues like poverty, drought, and migration.
Community Building and Social Justice
Passing the torch, not the problems, means solving social problems such as inequality, poverty, rape, kidnapping, drug abuse, discrimination, and social divisions, so that the next generation inherits a better world. This includes just and equitable societies. We are not talking about a single country’s community. We are talking about the hard work of building strong communities across societies. This should include community-led urban renewal projects, implemented simultaneously or in parallel with rural initiatives. Initiatives that empower local residents to redevelop their neighborhoods responsibly.
Additionally, mitigating legal penalties and social services that provide redress rather than punishment, such as reconciliation and counselling, may be helpful. Inter-religious and intercultural dialogue initiatives are needed to stop any kind of conflict. Community building and social work organisations work to connect different groups together to promote understanding and cooperation.
